Breeze Airways Adds Wilmington, NC to Growing List of Routes from Long Island MacArthur Airport
Islip, NY – May 7, 2025 – Today, Long Island MacArthur Airport is celebrating Breeze Airways’ announcement of another new nonstop destination from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). Beginning October 2, Breeze Airways will fly nonstop between ISP and Wilmington, NC (ILM)! This newest route brings Breeze Airways’ nonstop destination count to eight from Long Island MacArthur Airport. “Breeze Airways continues to grow at MacArthur Airport, and we could not be happier with the carrier’s commitment to our ISP loyal customers and the Long Island community,” said Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
Breeze Airways will serve Wilmington, NC two times weekly on Thursday and Sunday using new Airbus A220 aircraft. Limited introductory fares as low as $49 will be available beginning today at flybreeze.com and on the free Breeze app.

Long Island MacArthur Airport is experiencing an unprecedented period of growth. Simple Flying recently reported that this summer there will be 28% more takeoffs than during the same period in 2024 and 11% more than pre-pandemic 2019 levels.
