Frontier Inaugural Flight

The Town of Islip welcomes its newest airline August 16, as service begins from ISP to MCO on Frontier Airlines. The first aircraft features “Champ the Bronco.” The MacArthur Fire-Rescue greeted the aircraft with a water cannon salute. Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken, airport officials, local dignitaries and representatives from Frontier Airlines, joined in the celebration, which included remarks on Facebook Live.
